MISSION

 

The Web Enabled Safety System allows on-line reporting and data retrieval. WESS provides real-time reporting of mishaps, eliminates the need for redundant local data-entry systems, and allows retrieval and download of data so activities can perform their own analysis.

Helpful Information


To apply for a WESS account:
 
1) Go to https://wessas7.safetycenter.navy.mil
2) Click on the "Access Requests" link on the bottom right-hand section of the page (you may need to scroll down).
3) Fill out the access request.  Please make sure that the e-mail address is correct, as a verification email will be sent to the address listed. 
4) Once you receive the verification email, click on (or copy and paste into a browser window) the link to verify your email address.
5) Contact your Safety Authority and request they approve your account.  If you do not know who this person is, or the billet is vacant, please contact NRFK_SAFE_WESShelp@navy.mil.

DJRS:
 
WESS DJRS is now offline and unavailable for use. The release of the new RMI-DJRS application is found at https://afsas.safety.af.mil.
 
 You will need an AFSAS account to access to the new DJRS tool. An account can be requested at https://afsas.safety.af.mil

All closed dive logs and jump manifests will be transferred to the new DJRS tool. Open items in WESS will NOT be transferred.
 
NOTE: WESS IS TO BE USED TO ENTER MISHAP/HAZREP REPORTS WHEREAS AFSAS IS TO BE USED TO ENTER/RETRIEVE DIVES/JUMPS.
